Though I'm a cast member now, I can still say without bias that world showcase is my favorite area in any theme park. It is escapism at its best. There's almost always a festival happening. There are rides. There is food and beverage. And at night when everything is lit up it's super beautiful. For me it is what makes Disney a magical place to visit over and over again.
Absolutely love Epcot and the World Showcase pavilions. Always beautiful at the holidays and you never run out of food and beverages.
The premise of this area is countries of the world, you taste the food and meet people from that county. Japans drums drew a good crowd and the nachos in Mexico are amazing! The fireworks are well worth the wait. Excellent musical score and great atmosphere. The exit was surprisingly quick considering how many people were leaving.
Epcot is always a great fun place All the new things they've installed this year the new lighting the new plants it's amazing
The food was amazing. Every building has AC which was amazing as it was a hot one when we went.
I'm a foodie, so this place is my kind of place, especially during special Festival times. But, Tangerine Cafe is one of my favorites every time (Pita with Hummus, Chermoula, & Zhoug Dips is my go-to. The Kefta, too. Reasonable prices. Besides the great food offerings, there is often related entertainment.
Epcot never gets old, absolutely love the scenery. Beautiful and magical at the same time
Located inside of Disney's Epcot. Admission is required. Explore cultures from around the world as you indulge in beverages, food and decadent desserts that represent each country's variety of dishes. There are plenty of quick service locations along the way or you can make a reservation for one of the traditional restaurants. I highly recommend reservations in advance if wanting to do a sit down restaurant.
Vegan, Vegetarian, Plant-based and Gluten Free options are all offered, just check the menus AND talk to a Chef.
During certain times of the year, you'll even get to experience more cultural tastes as foodbooths pop up part of festivals such as Food & Wine, Festival of the Holidays, Flower & Garden and Festival of The Arts. Of course make sure you to don't miss out on all of the live concerts in the American Pavillion during these special festivals. You might just catch Simple Plan, Boy II Men or Don Felder.
Whatever you do, just be prepared to eat and drink around the world which means having an open budget and an open stomach!
**Please note that photos are from various festivals over the last two years to give you an idea of what to expect at each, but the menus can change each year**
